Anne Avis is a board leader in independent nonprofit journalism. She previously led the boards of KQED, public media in San Francisco’s Bay Area, and Internews, a global media development organization. She currently serves on the boards of Montana Free Press, an independent newsroom dedicated to public service journalism for Montanans, and Tinworks Art, a nonprofit arts space in Bozeman MT.
