ZEG Network
In a world overwhelmed by noise and starved of meaning, ZEG Network is a new initiative by Coda Story and partners, designed to create spaces for deep, meaningful conversations that cut through the chaos. We bring together storytellers of all kinds—journalists, artists, technologists, activists, and thinkers—to build shared narratives that help us imagine a better day after tomorrow.
“ZEG” means “the day after tomorrow” in one of the world’s most ancient languages: Georgian
As the natural progression of ZEG Fest, Coda’s celebrated annual storytelling festival in Tbilisi, now in its fifth year, ZEG is evolving into a global platform powered by Coda’s award-winning investigative journalism. More than a series of events, it is a dynamic storytelling and collaboration hub dedicated to amplifying voices and ideas that reimagine what comes next for our world.

ZEG London: Stories That Connect Us
October 18 2025
The Old Finsbury Town Hall
Power hides in plain sight: in algorithms that decide what we see, in oligarchs who shape what we believe, in borders that erase entire peoples.
Our London edition brought together journalists, artists, activists, and thinkers to explore how patterns emerge when we connect the dots between colonial blueprints and Silicon Valley dreams, between stories we’re told and the realities we live.
In partnership with the School of Communication and Creativity at City St George’s, University of London, we mapped how power operates across time, space, and systems – revealing connections we don’t usually see. Conversations looked to the day after tomorrow: where resistance isn’t just about fighting back, but about re-imagining how we build the future and how tools of control can become instruments of liberation.
The stage featured voices such as Armando Iannucci, Christopher Wylie, Ghaith Abdul-Ahad, Kumi Naidoo, Oliver Bullough, Rena Effendi, Ryan Broderick, Natalia Antelava, Dr Adio-Adet Dinika, Nadia Beard, Khalid Abdalla, Peter Pomerantsev, Anna Whitelock, Dr Julie Posetti, Carissa Véliz, Isobel Cockerell, Peter Geoghegan, Susan Hawley, Ava Lee, Lars Sellien, Luka Gviniashvili, Oliver Poole, and Jane Martinson – each contributing a unique lens on how power operates and how stories can reshape it.
The day ended with ZEG’s spin on Georgia’s ancient storytelling tradition: a Georgian feast where delicious food was served alongside stories, connection, and dissent, hosted by celebrated chef Tekuna Gachechiladze.

ZEG Amsterdam: Stories for the Day After Tomorrow
August 29 2025
De Balie, Amsterdam
From Europe’s struggle against algorithmic control to the streets of Tbilisi where protesters face AI-powered surveillance cameras, ZEG Amsterdam explored how technology is rewriting the rules of power – and what that means for the rest of us.
The event brought together journalists, artists, technologists, activists, and thinkers to challenge the mythologies of tech innovation and map the global struggle against algorithmic authoritarianism. It offered aha moments, radical insights, and unexpected connections – a blueprint for reclaiming our collective agency in a world increasingly defined by invisible algorithms.
Among those who took the stage were Christopher Wylie, Julie Posetti, Natalia Antelava, Giorgi Gigashvili, and Luka Gviniashvili, sharing stories that reimagined how technology can serve human dignity.
After the main program, guests experienced ZEG’s twist on one of humanity’s oldest storytelling traditions: a Georgian feast where delicious food met stories, connection, and dissent, hosted by chef Tekuna Gachechiladze.
